This is the best chocolate cake I have ever tryed. Everyone asks for this recipe. Here it is for you, Enjoy!
CHOCOLATE CAKE
Mix in a bowl, then add:
In a saucepan, combine 1 c. margarine, 4 T. cocoa, and 1 c. water. Boil, cool, then add to dry ingredients. Mix batter, grease and bake in a 13 x 9 inch pan, at 375 for 30 – 35 minutes (DO NOT OVERBAKE) Frost before cool. (After 10 or 15 min.)
CHOCOLATE CAKE FROSTING
Combine in a sauce pan, and boil. Then mix in approx. 3 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 1 c. nuts (optional), 1 t. vanilla. beat until smooth, spread on warm cake. Can add coconut as well.
FILLING
This recipe makes the best cream cheese filled cup cakes, just mix 8 oz. softened cream cheese, 1/3 c. sugar, 1 egg, and 1 6oz. pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips. Place cupcake cups in muffin tin. Fill cup 1/2 full with batter, then 1 heaping t. of filling, and top with more batter. Bake at 350 for 15 – 20 min.
I make the cupcakes extra large and decorate with sprinkles and give as gifts!

I have been away from my website for awhile sorry this responce has taken so long.
I mix the filling in a seperate bowl just a dd all ingredients except chocolate chips, just stirring well, then add chips, then drop by teaspoon into cup cakes.
