This shortbread cookie recipe is one of our favorites for Christmas!
NUT SHORTBREAD COOKIES
1 cup soft butter 2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/8t. salt
Mix all ingredients with hands, chill. Roll to 1/2 inch. Cut, bake at 300 degrees for 20 – 25 min. Yields 2 doz. 1 1/2 inch cookies.
