I have recently been looking for every way I can to save money. I have decided that paring down my cleaners, to something non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and effective would be my goal. I had the perfect cleaner in my closet, SIMPLE GREEN! I have used Simple Green for quite awhile, as a degreaser, and to polish my sinks, but as I cast out the empty cleaner bottles I have found that Simple Green used in different strengths can do all my cleaning.I simply have 4 spray bottles that I bought at the Dollar Store, mix the Simple Green in different strengths, label each bottle, and that is all the cleaner I need, except for my wood floors, and windows which I will explain in the next post.
I buy my Simple Green by the gallon at Sam’s Club. Because it comes as a concentrate, and I dilute to the strength to suit the job, one gallon lasts a very long time. The dilution chart on the side of the bottle suggests the strengths to use for heavy, medium and light cleaning. It can be used for general cleaning, automotive, kitchen and bath, and even laundry. It is lightly scented, however you can buy unscented on the Simple Green website.
Using one cleaner has set me free. It is biodegradable, and I don’t have all those plastic bottles from other cleaners to dispose of, and I enjoy not gassing myself with toxic cleaning agents. It does a great job, my sinks, and toilets have never been shinier and my wallet is happier.
Try it, I think you will like it!
